Shame on you men, for always being considered the weak gender

Giada - shame on you

Couple of days ago I got an email from a dear friend. Once I opened it, I found feelings coming from the heart, which probably stem from subduing sexist attitudes that in 2017 should no longer exist.

I was very impressed with this vent, a lot of sentences were written with no filters.

Because I am an inedible dreamer and I always imagine that we can create a better World, I want to share these words with you people of internet, hoping someone else like me will be impressed.

Enjoy the reading!

As I’ve witnessed throughout my many years of working in the restaurant business, this is dedicated to all the men around the World that continue to treat their women coworkers like shit.

To all these sexist men that don’t give their female counterparts the ability to grow in the business and clearly make them feel miserable, just because they are women. To all those men that don’t want to listen to their women colleagues, simply because according to them, they just always talk shit and complain for all the time for unimportant things.

Who are you to say that my complaints are not important?

Who are you to judge my words and punish me because you say that I can’t do as much as my men coworkers do?

All you men are supposed to be a guide, a mentor, a person that should be helping us during the workday, but the only thing they you’re able to do is put us women down with insults and punish us without a valid explanation, (I have 100 examples to make my point valid).

To all these men who think they are just great and don’t make mistakes, who believe they deserve every single moment of glory, every single dollar they earn, and the easiest work shifts. To all these men around the world today in 2017 that still discriminate on us women, and regardless of what we have to say or do about it, we are still treated differently.

SHAME ON YOU!  Because when we ask for help or advice, the only thing you’re able to answer us with is, “If you don’t like working here you can leave now!”

The thing that pisses me off the most is that some of us don’t have any other choices.  Some of us don’t have a Plan B. And for thousands of reasons, we can’t just leave the only job we have. I often hear something like, “Oh you’re always complaining!” Well yes, I complain because I don’t tolerate Injustice and I can’t see how miserable we’ve become after being treated disrespectfully.  And this happens way too many times, but yet we don’t speak up.  We’re too afraid to do that, and to frightened about losing our jobs, our status or positions.

Shame on us for always being considered the weak gender and shame on you men, whose tiny brains are only designed to make women feel bad and miserable? Now go ahead and judge me for this.
