Hakuna Matata isn’t just the song from The Lion King, but it’s something else, it is a philosophy of life, it means living without thoughts worries and stress.
It would be so nice to be able to live without worries about all those little things, that society tends to make us perceive important, but in reality they are not.
We live in a world where it seems essential to have a perfect physical appearance, a nice car, making a dream holiday, being surrounded by an entourage of right people (good, beautiful, brave…), have a wonderful house, everything what is to say to have a perfect life.
Does perfect life really exist?
If we deeply observe people, we realize that not everything passes through waivers, for example, do you want a perfect body? Go to the gym every day, eat only chicken and vegetables and you’re done, you can forget the joy of eating a pizza or a slice of cake, but if that’s what you want, do it!
Do you want a dream holiday? Save money, buy a flight ticket for some exotic destination…. It seems easy, but probably it isn’t.
These things always seem so easy to get, the fact is that between what we seem to want and what we really want, there is a lot of difference.
Behind the perfect apparence there are always a million defects and waivers and if you are good in hiding them, you will be perceived by society as a WOW person.
On the contrary I admire people who live as they want without being stressed about things they are not really interested.
Only finding the right balance between what we really want and what we are willing to do to get it, we can drive out unnecessary anxiety and live without worries.
Hakuna matata is lying on a lawn, watching the sky and be happy and confident, because we have no worries, because we are what we want.
